A Domain Of My Very Own….
As you may or may not know, “thoughtsofmyown” is my very first domain. There is a lot of work involved in coming up with a catchy little domain name. You have to find something that’s not too drab. Can’t be too off the wall or it just won’t make sense. And it has to be original. The key is to find something truly unique. I wanted something to explain what I was trying to do here. And as this is primarily a collection of my own thoughts, that seemed a logical progression.
I must admit though, the absolutely coolest part of having a registered domain is that at long last I can raise my voice to the heavens and shout “I Am The Master Of My Own Domain!!”
Ok, I have a domain confession. We’re all friends here, so I suppose I should just come out with it: I’m not really the master of my own domain. My dear friend, Gordon, is really the master of my domain. He put it together for me, so at best I am the regional manager of my domain.
Mayor of my domain? No, because that implies an election and I just took the power. Claimed it with my two grubby little hands! So then am I the dictator of my domain? That sounds too aggressive. Perhaps the reigning queen of my domain? Any suggestions for other ruler-type titles that seem appropriate will be much appreciated. Something glamorous would be lovely.

How about Monarch or Sovereign? I personaly like Monarch. It implies the beauty of a butterfly, and the grace of colored wings on thhe wind. And freedom and conrol of ones actions. Oh and power, of course ^_~!
