My Condolences
I’m having one of those days when strangers look at you and sigh sympathetically. No, really. It happened in the elevator. A very nice lady in nurse scrubs asked me about my job. I told her in the briefest possible way and with no negative tone of voice what I do.
She sighed and looked at me sympathetically before reminding me that at least it’s Friday.
And you know what kills me? Friday this week doesn’t mean much. I’m excessively grouchy and I don’t think I’ll feel better until Sunday. Why Sunday? Because it will mean this week really is over and new one has started.
Sigh.
